LIBERA ME, Domine, Iesu Christe, ab omnibus iniquitatis meis et universis malis,
fac me tuis semper inhærere mandatis et a te numquam separari permittas. Amen.

and MORE Advertising . . !

There have already been one or two mentions on various blogs of the Rosary Crusade of Reparation, which this year will take place in the afternoon of Saturday 16 October.

It starts from outside Westminster Cathedral at 1:45 pm, and goes by a slightly circuitous route down Knightsbridge (and past Harrods) to the Oratory (aka Brompton Oratory) where there will be various devotions including a sermon, Pontifical Benediction, and the opportunity to receive the Brown Scapular.

It is a truly magnificent experience, and a wonderful way to witness to the Catholic Faith : perhaps a particularly good thing to do this year following the Holy Father’s visit, and the Archbishop of Westminster’s encouragement last Sunday for Catholics to stand up and be counted by making it public that they are Catholics.

The only thing that is irritating me is that I shan’t be able to take part in it this year, as even before the date was announced I had committed myself to speaking in a Diocesan Conference elsewhere . . . but I shall certainly offer a Rosary for it that day, and I do hope that as many of you as can possibly go will do so, and show your love for Our Lady, and your support for the Church.
