My memory was just jogged into recollection that Haiti was originally known as Santo Domingo, and the first capital was Santo Domingo de Guzman . . . so the members of the Dominican Family throughout the world have a very special connection with Haiti.Let us ask S. Dominic to have all the people of Haiti in his prayers at this time.
