Mac over at Mulier Fortis has a post today which drew my attention to a blog which I hadn’t noticed before : embarrassingly, as the author is already a reader of this one !
Malvenu is someone who, like me only a couple of years ago, is yet on the other side of the Tiber : but unfortunately in his case there is apparently ya wife who is opposed to his joining the Swimming Club.
His posts are thoughtful, and he is clearly fully convinced of what he needs to do, and where he needs to be; he just finds himself stuck with what appears to be a resolute opposition which he clearly doesn’t need.
Do, please, pray for him and for his wife, that this problem may be resolved, and that they may both come home and join those of us fortunate enough to have gone before them.

ReplyDeleteSeriously, thank you for your support and, yes, my prayer too is that we both join the swimming club. I was going to say that it is especially encouraging to have the support of other converts but, honestly, i can't say i've encountered that many cradle Catholics!
